Abstract

This study aimed to examine teachers' perceived administrator support and related factors. The research was designed in a general survey model according to quantitative research methods. In the research, data were collected with a personal information form prepared for the purpose and the Perceived Manager Support scale. Data collection tool; It was applied to 344 teachers, determined by convenience sampling method, working in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education operating in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul in the 2022-2023 academic year. The analysis of the obtained data was carried out in computer environment. As a result of the research, it was determined that teachers perceived a high level of support from their administrators. In the study, while teachers' perceived administrative support did not differ according to their age, professional seniority, length of time working in the same institution, gender and marital status, the administrator support they perceived according to their educational status differed statistically. It was concluded that teachers with a bachelor's degree perceive a higher level of administrative support than teachers with a master's degree.
